LemCall for Zoom
How to add, use, and remove the LemCall app for Zoom.
What the app does
LemCall is a scheduling tool. You publish a booking page, other people pick a time from your real availability, and LemCall confirms the meeting.
When a booking page or meeting type uses Zoom as its location, LemCall creates a Zoom meeting in your own Zoom account at the moment the booking is confirmed. The join link is added to the confirmation page, the confirmation emails, and the calendar invite for both sides. If the meeting is rescheduled LemCall updates the same Zoom meeting, and if it is cancelled LemCall deletes it.
Prerequisites
- A LemCall account. You can create one free at lemcall.co/auth.
- A Zoom account that is allowed to create meetings.
- If your Zoom account is managed by an organisation, an account admin may need to pre-approve the app in the Zoom App Marketplace before you can authorize it.
Adding the app
- Sign in to LemCall and open the dashboard.
- Go to Integrations and select the Video tab.
- Find the Zoom card and select Connect Zoom.
- Zoom opens its authorization screen. Review the requested permissions and select Allow.
- Zoom returns you to LemCall. The Zoom card now shows Connected along with the Zoom account you authorized.
You can also install from the Zoom App Marketplace listing. Selecting Add there starts the same authorization flow and finishes on your LemCall Integrations page.
Using the app
- Open a booking page or meeting type in LemCall and edit its Location.
- Choose Video call and select Zoom as the provider, then save.
- Share your booking link. When someone books a time, LemCall creates the Zoom meeting automatically.
- The join link appears on the confirmation screen, in the confirmation email sent to both people, and in the calendar invite.
- Rescheduling updates the existing Zoom meeting time. Cancelling deletes the Zoom meeting. Neither action requires you to touch Zoom directly.
Nothing is created in Zoom until a booking is actually confirmed, so connecting the app does not add meetings to your Zoom account on its own.
Removing the app
From LemCall
- Open Integrations and select the Video tab.
- On the Zoom card, select Disconnect.
- LemCall deletes the stored Zoom access and refresh tokens for your account immediately.
From Zoom
- Sign in to your Zoom account at zoom.us.
- Go to Zoom App Marketplace, then Manage, then Added Apps.
- Find LemCall in the list and select Remove.
- Zoom notifies LemCall, and LemCall deletes the stored credentials for that Zoom account.
After removal, Zoom meetings that were already created stay in your Zoom account and continue to work. New bookings on Zoom-based pages will no longer generate a link until you reconnect or switch the location to another provider.
Data and permissions
The app requests only the scopes it needs to manage the meetings it creates:
meeting:write:meeting— create a Zoom meeting when a booking is confirmed.meeting:update:meeting— update that meeting when a booking is rescheduled.meeting:delete:meeting— delete that meeting when a booking is cancelled.user:read:user— read your Zoom account email and ID so LemCall can show which account is connected and create meetings under it.
LemCall stores your Zoom access token, refresh token, account identifier, and the meeting ID and join URL of each meeting it creates. Tokens are stored encrypted, are never exposed to your booking visitors, and are deleted when you disconnect or uninstall. LemCall does not access recordings, chat, contacts, or meetings it did not create.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Troubleshooting
- Zoom stops on its own "Something went wrong" page. The authorization never reaches LemCall, so nothing is stored. This happens when the Zoom account is not on the approved list for the app, which applies while the app is in Zoom's review process. Email us the Zoom account email and we'll add it.
- Zoom shows an invalid redirect error (4,700). Start the connection from the LemCall Integrations page rather than from a saved or copied URL. If it persists, contact us so we can confirm the redirect configuration for your account.
- The card says the connection needs attention. Your Zoom grant expired or was revoked. Select Reconnect and authorize again.
- A booking confirmed without a Zoom link. Check that the page's location is set to Zoom and that the Zoom card shows Connected, then reconnect if needed. Existing bookings are not backfilled; you can add a link manually from the booking details.
- Your admin blocks the app. Ask your Zoom account admin to approve LemCall in the Zoom App Marketplace, then try again.
